Jazmin Riley and I visited Hermosillo this past weekend. While we were there we met up with Carolina Valdez, of EME Agency, for a photo shoot.
I’ve visited Mexico once before earlier this year, though this was my first visit to Jazmin’s home town, Hermosillo, Sonora. That being so, finding our final shooting location took some time.
The first location we visited had an interesting stone staircase leading up the side of a hill, it was huge. The problem was the sun was high in the sky and surrounding area provided no shade. Less than ideal.
Our second location, providing much better conditions, was in a small park out in front of the Cathedral. I was able to light Carolina using mostly natural light, with only a little bit of flash to fill in the shadows caused by the afternoon sun.
