Anna is a fan of the beauty work I’ve been doing lately. We had been writing back and forth for some time to setup a shoot, though with her in Tucson, my studio in Phoenix and our schedules never aligning, it took some time before we were able to meet up.
The concept for this photo has long been on my to-do list. For this setup, I worked with Lorri Mitchell, MUA, to create a clean beauty image, drawing in the colors of the flower to the makeup around the eyes. If you haven’t yet had the opportunity, I recommend checking out her work… my favorite makeup artist to work with, by far.
